There are 50,000 people converging on the city of Philadelphia the week of July 25 to 28, 2016 for the Democratic National Convention. These people will eat, shop, sleep and party. However, all of the revenue from that activity will go into major established businesses. So, who looks out for the entreprenuer and the small business person with events like this. SURVIVE STRIVE THRIVE, INC. remains committed to creating platforms and marketplaces that channel profits to entreprenuers and small businesses. How can you be expected to be of peace of mind to vote if you are always struggling to make a dollar. And why should you vote for people who don't have your best interest at heart. Thus far, our marketplace at our DINE & DANCE/SHOP & SIP event is the only marketplace centered around the entreprenuer and small businesses. I am very interested in your comments in reference to this topic.

SHOWBOAT a long standing Casino in Atlantic City is closing its doors. This is the 2nd Casino closing within a months time. If the Casino has no money, things must be really bad economically. It is time for families to be pooling their resources. Moving in together and sharing things like food money and car expenses.

The main concerns with brick and mortar used to be location, location, location. However, with the advent of internet; it has a new obstacle. Even the largest much needed brick and mortars are closing because of overhead. (Post Office, Department stores and so on). Then on the other hand a the internet can be a benefit to the brick and mortar. If people can feel they trust you via physical contact at your brick and mortar, they are more apt to feel safe going to your website and doing business. And they will appreciate the convenience. The main concern in an internet only business is 'CAN I TRUST THIS SITE'...big names like department stores, HSN, Pro Flowers, have no problem because they have an established reputation. But for the small new comer to the internet, internet only is going to be a challenge.

Any idea can be turned into an entrepreneurial venture. In today's world being an entrepreneur is almost a necessity. Whether employed or not, it is always good to have something of your own brewing and bringing in money.
There are two good avenues to start with. One, pinpointing a need that can be turned into cash. Two, identifying a hobby that you enjoy and finding a way to turn it into cash. Bottomline, whether its a need or a hobby, make sure you enjoy what you are doing. |
